Homeowner Reviews and Testimonials

Unedited client feedback from homeowners across York Region and the GTA whose bathrooms our crew has renovated or repaired.

Having a renovation crew working inside your house for three to five weeks takes trust in how they communicate, how they keep hallways clean, and how they handle the small finishing details at the end of the build. Below are real homeowner testimonials from bathroom projects we have completed across Richmond Hill, Newmarket, Vaughan and Toronto. Each review lists the client’s name, their municipality and the project scope; where a longer comment was shortened for space, an ellipsis marks the cut.

  • …provided a full service option for me from design to demo to finish. The final product was a high quality finish completed within the time estimated. I am completely satisfied with the work and the professionalism through out the process.

  • We are very happy with the work Slava and his team did and would highly recommend them. We found him to be fair, honest and transparent. He was quick to respond to any inquiries and was very communicative throughout the entire process to address any questions or concerns. We will definitely use Slava for any future projects in our home.

  • I hired Slava to do some drywall, mudding & taping, trim, painting and tiles. I was happy with the quality of work, especially the tiles. But most importantly I was happy how he dealt with issues that I pointed out. No issues out of the ordinary but he fixed everything that I asked and stuck around until the job was done.

  • Slava recently renovated our outdated bathroom to a beautiful, modern, upscale space which now feels more like a spa! From the beginning, Slava understood the concept we were hoping to achieve and he provided detailed drawings for our approval before proceeding to the next step. He paid a lot of attention to details and was great to work with. His customer service is excellent!…

Why we do not display decorative star badges

Plenty of renovation websites place a “5.0 Stars” graphic in the banner with no link to a public review profile. We never display star-rating widgets unless they link directly to verifiable public reviews.

Instead, we point you to concrete facts you can check before signing an agreement: our published Aurora labour packages and all-in price ranges, before-and-after photography from real completed bathroom renovations, our WSIB and liability insurance commitments on the about page, and the terms of our written labour warranty.

Four things to look for when reading bathroom contractor reviews

As you compare renovation companies across Aurora and York Region, keep four practical checks in mind:

  • See how the crew handles end-of-job punch-list items. Every bathroom remodel has small final adjustments—a tile trim edge, a paint touch-up, a cabinet door alignment. Reviews that mention the contractor staying until every item pointed out was fixed tell you what your own experience will be like.
  • Look for specific construction details. Genuine homeowner feedback mentions layout drawings, tile workmanship, communication during the build, or daily tidy-up rather than vague one-line praise.
  • Check consistency over time. Feedback spanning multiple years of full bathroom remodels, shower conversions and repair jobs carries far more weight than a cluster of generic notes posted in the same week.
  • Verify credentials independently. Even strong reviews do not replace an active WSIB clearance certificate, commercial liability insurance, ESA electrical filing, and an itemized written contract. Use our step-by-step article on how to vet a bathroom contractor in Aurora.
