Our Bathroom Renovation Labour Warranty

When you invest in a bathroom remodel, you should know exactly who stands behind the installation after the tools are packed away. Every bathroom we renovate across Aurora and central York Region includes a written labour warranty stated directly in your signed renovation contract prior to demolition.

Complimentary first-year service visit

As an Ontario house moves through winter heating and summer humidity cycles, wood framing expands and contracts slightly. Within the first 12 months after your bathroom is completed, our technician returns for a no-charge service call to take care of minor seasonal settling items, including:

• Fine-tuning vanity cabinet doors or soft-close drawer slides that have shifted slightly with use.
• Refreshing a silicone caulking joint along a bathtub rim, vanity splash or shower corner.
• Adjusting the bottom sweep, latch alignment or hinge tension on a frameless glass shower door.
• Tightening a towel bar, robe hook, toilet seat mount or valve trim plate.

Workmanship covered under our labour warranty

Our written workmanship warranty covers the installation labour performed by our crew across all bathroom renovation services we offer: shower waterproofing membranes, tile setting and grouting, rough and finish plumbing connections, electrical fixture installation, vanity and countertop mounting, and shower glass installation. If a covered workmanship defect appears during the warranty term stated in your agreement, we return and correct the installation at no labour charge.

Long-term durability starts with how the room is prepared before tile ever goes on the wall. As explained on our renovation process page, we install continuous waterproof membranes, properly pitched shower pans, solid wood blocking behind wall hardware, and licensed plumbing and electrical trades on every bathroom.

Items handled separately from installation labour

• Manufacturer product warranties. Faucet cartridges, thermostatic shower valves, toilets, vanity cabinets, LED mirrors, exhaust fans and floor-heating thermostats are covered by their respective manufacturers. When we supply a fixture that develops a factory defect, we help coordinate the replacement part from the supplier.
• Routine homeowner care. Resealing natural marble or stone, replacing silicone caulking after the first year, and wiping mineral deposits from glass and faucet aerators are normal household maintenance.
• Impact damage or harsh chemical cleaners. Cracked porcelain from dropped heavy items, metal finishes etched by bleach or abrasive cleaners, or plumbing modified by another party after completion fall outside workmanship coverage.
